Each April, an ensemble of principal musicians from the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra present eight 45-minute programs for pre-school and day-care children.

The concerts, under the direction of assistant conductor Joseph Choi, introduce classical music to the children, and teach them about the instruments of the orchestra and about basic musical concepts. They also receive personal contact with the musicians. This gives teachers an opportunity to teach and reinforce audience skills. 

Approximately 1,000 pre-school children attend these concerts. Pre-registration encouraged.
