Beethoven With Party Hat

The span of the season leads up to this anticipated event … the ultimate celebration — including champagne and cake! This season finale starts with a nod to the orchestra’s beginnings — with the delightful Schubert Rosamunde. The orchestra performed this piece on its first program on Dec. 9, 1934. Respighi’s evocative masterpiece Fountains of Rome transports you through a day in this magnificent city. Then raise your champagne glass to proclaim “Happy 75th Birthday, Evansville Philharmonic!” with Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony — an “Ode to Joy” experience like no other.
