Peppermint Pops concert aids food bank

Last weekend's Peppermint Pops performance of "Christmas Through the Eyes of Children" collected more than $1,000 and about 1,000 pounds of food for needy local families.

The audience for the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra event at The Victory was encouraged to donate items to the Tri-State Food Bank.
