The Evansville Redevelopment Commission announced a plan assuring 1,100 parking spaces located behind the Civic Center will remain free for downtown entertainment. Additionally 600 on-street parking spaces throughout downtown will remain free as well.
The plan includes charging $5 per vehicle to park in three city-owned parking garages located on Locust, Third, and Sycamore Streets for downtown events and weekends. This city plan will be in effect beginning Oct. 29, 2011 for Vectren's Opening Night Pops: "Shake, Rattle & Roll with Flash Cadillac".
As a perk to our loyal season ticket holders, subscribers may purchase Pre-Paid Parking Passes for the Sycamore Garage by calling our Box Office at (812) 425-5050 by Friday, October 24th.
Busses may temporarily unload and load passengers at the Main Street entrance of the Victory Theatre. However, busses must park elsewhere.
