Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra

The Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra II (EPYO II), under the direction of Sheryl Schuster,  is composed of 46 students from grades 6-9. The ensemble emphasizes basic skills that students will use in high school and possibly later in the EPYO.

The EPYO II emphasizes technique, especially string technique, and reading music.

The EPYO II presents a Fall Concert and a Spring Concert each season. They also perform bi-annually with EPYO.

EPYO II members needing financial assistance are eligible for the full-tuition William B. Cox Scholarship.

AUDITIONS:  Mid-season audition will be held in January, 2012. More information to be posted soon.
