The Evansville Philharmonic Chorus (EPC) offers listeners an
opportunity to experience live choral and orchestral music in a
professional setting.
The ensemble includes 120 adult members from the Tri-State area. They
perform in both Pops and Classics series concerts each year. Each
season the EPC presents an all-choral program featuring a full-length
chamber choral work with a chamber orchestra.
This group has also performed in prestigious venues throughout the
world. For example, in the summer of 1999, the chorus performed in
Carnegie Hall. And in 2002, they performed in many sacred Italian
venues, including the Duomo in Florence. In 2005, they performed in
several venues throughout England.
The chorus maintains a group of sufficient size to perform major choral
works with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, they
provide independent choral concerts for the enjoyment and cultural
enrichment of audiences and members.
