In collaboration with Carver Community Organization, orchestra musicians offer free violin lessons to children in grades k-8.

The goals for this after-school initiative are:

• to help children develop skills for musical performance
• to create a learning environment that encourages children to develop skills for increased self-esteem and academic achievement
• to promote healthy life styles by providing after-school activities
