Fundraising Assistant
Part-time position (30 hrs/week). Responsibilities include coordinating specific fund raising events, data entry. Prefer two years’ fund raising or related experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Requires excellent telephone, presentation, organization and time management skills. Established community contacts and computer experience in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel a plus.
Marketing Specialist
Must be dynamic, innovative, and experienced. Responsible for planning, supervising, administering, and evaluating programs that meet or exceed ticket sales revenue and attendance goals for orchestra events while maximizing visibility of EPO in order to reach long-term objectives. Develop budgets in order to meet sales goals and plan event advertising accordingly (TV, radio, direct mail, print, social media). Also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and arts leaders in order to build public relations for the organization. This person will also build audience diversity by reaching out to community and ethnic groups through special promotions.

CONSORTIUM FLUTE
The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and University of Evansville announce the position of Consortium Flute; Principal Flute of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Adjunct Instructor of Flute (half-time) at University of Evansville. Responsibilities include:
- Serving as Principal Flute in the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra; approximately 90 services with the EPO
(includes all orchestra and Consortium services). - Teaching studio flute.
- Performing with the Harlaxton Woodwind Quintet.
- Serving as Flute faculty for the annual Shepard Honor Band.
- Participating in recruiting and admissions activities.
- Additional teaching to complete a half-time load.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Performance at a very high level of artistic accomplishment including solo, chamber, and orchestral experience; a strong commitment to teaching. Required: Masters degree. Desirable: College level teaching experience.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Approximately $24,000 (combined) plus disability, health, and life insurance
AUDITIONS will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013. The first round will consist of an orchestra audition. Finalists will be interviewed regarding pedagogical experience and philosophy, and teach a short lesson.

The Philharmonic offers unpaid internships in the areas of marketing/sales and fundraising/development. Get real-world experience plus a unique behind-the-scenes view of a non-profit organization! Interested students should send their letter of interest and resume to [email protected].
The Marketing Assistant/Graphic Design Intern assists the Philharmonic’s Marketing Director in the development and execution of marketing functions including but not limited to: the production, distribution and organization of all marketing materials including newspaper and magazine ads, website graphics, advertising and contracts, general sales, establishing community contacts, website maintenance, electronic communication and email marketing, press relations and releases, and bulk mailings. Strong computer and communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are musts. Proficient knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop is required. Knowledge of Excel is desired.
The Development Intern assists the Philharmonic’s Development Director in the creation and execution of fundraising functions including but limited to: establishing community contacts, electronic communication, bulk mailings, and assisting in the production, distribution and organization of fundraising materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn about fundraising in a non-profit organization. Strong computer and communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail are musts.
