Maestro Savia Welcomes You to the 2009–2010 Special Events!

Although each of our concerts this season is special in some way, we do have a number of Special Events planned this season and we hope you’ll join us. Our first performance of our 75^th Anniversary season celebrates the birth of our 200th President, Abraham Lincoln. Join us and you’ll be treated to a powerfully patriotic program in the unique outdoor venue of Lincoln Amphitheatre.

Our sparkling Opening Night Diamond Jubilee honoring John H. and Virginia G. Schroeder kicks the season off in style! Enter to win a dazzling $7,500 diamond generously donated by Brinker’s Jewelers! Then, EPYO and EPYO II will demonstrate their talents in their Winter and Spring Concerts. I hope you’ll come out and support these dedicated young people. In our annual Spring Choral Concert, the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus, under the baton of Dennis Malfatti, will resonate in the beautiful Saint Benedict’s Cathedral. The purity of choral singing in this awe inspiring setting will make for one of the most inspiring evenings of the entire season.
