Maestro Savia Welcomes You to the 2009–2010 Grand Series!

Paying Tribute to the Past … Embracing the Future

What an incredible milestone — 75 years of live symphonic music in the Tri-State! Our 2009–2010 season is a grand celebration of the orchestra’s past and a look toward the future — 75 years of Bridging Generations. Come celebrate with us!

If your tastes vary from the popular to the classics, then our Grand Series is perfect for you. Our Grand Series includes all 7 Classics concerts and all 4 Pops concerts. This season, we pay tribute to the past through the culmination of our two-year Beethoven Symphony Cycle. Treat yourself to the (ode to) joy of Beethoven’s 9th symphony. Then, experience the drama of a Tribute to Opera. Mark your calendars in January for a unique “family reunion” concert featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. You’ll also hear works from the Orchestra’s first concert in 1934. Our Pops concerts take you on a nostalgic trip back to the eras of The Beatles and Sinatra, and include powerful performances from Broadway stars and newly emerging artists in programs certain to show you a good time.

I invite you to check out our season below and order your season tickets today! Then bring your sweetheart, parents, children and friends and share the excitement of your Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. We look forward to entertaining and inspiring our Tri-State family for generations to come!
