Maestro Savia Welcomes You to the 2008–2009 Special Events!
We have a number of Special Events planned this season and we hope you’ll join us. Our sparkling Opening Night Gala honoring Niel and Karen Ellerbrook kicks the season off in style!
Then, EPYO and EPYO II will demonstrate their talents in our Winter and Spring Concerts. I hope you’ll come out and support these dedicated young people.
This season we’re offering a special Sing-Along Messiah at Holy Redeemer Church. Just enjoy and listen to the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus perform the glorious Christmas portion of Messiah, or join in and add YOUR own voice to make this an even more memorable event.
In our annual Spring Choral Concert, the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus, under its newly appointed conductor, Dennis Malfatti, will resonate in the beautiful Saint Benedict’s Cathedral. The purity of choral singing in this awe inspiring setting will make for one of the most inspring evenings of the entire season.
I look forward to seeing you in the audience.
Alfred Savia

The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra invites golfers from all over the Tri-State to participate in one of the most popular golf benefits of the year! Enjoy a full day out on the world-class Victoria National Golf Course.
Award-winning architect Tom Fazio used the natural lay of the land to create this 7,239 yard championship course. Victoria is currently ranked #22 on Golf Digest's Top 100 list.
In the past, the Philharmonic Golf Benefit has brought in PGA celebs such as Chi-Chi Rodriguez, Mark O'Meara, Jeff Overton, and Nick Watney - thanks to generous support from Toyota Motor Manfacturing, Indiana, Inc. and others.
Plans for this season's event are still in the works so keep checking here for the lastest updates!
