Maestro Savia Welcomes You to the 2008–2009 Grand Series!

Maestro Savia This season is particularly near and dear to my heart as it is my 20^th season serving as Music Director for the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. As we celebrate 74 years of providing live, symphonic music to the Tri-State, we invite you to share our passion for music throughout this season: “A Season of Love.”

The Grand Series includes all 7 Classics concerts and all 4 Pops concerts. If your tastes range from the popular to the classics, then our Grand Series is perfect for you.

Beginning on Opening Night, we are launching a two-year celebration of Beethoven as we kick off The Beethoven Symphony Cycle. We’ll perform all of Beethoven’s 9 symphonies over the next two years.

Our Pops concerts feature GRAMMY award winning artists, Broadway stars, and the best holiday music celebration in town, “Peppermint Pops!”
